How are our services so competitively priced?

Our standard health and safety advisor day rate is just £100 per day. We will always tell you upfront how many days your requirements will take and give you that as a fixed quote price per job.

People ask how we can offer our services at such a “cheap” price, and here is the answer:

  • All our team are in house employees. Allot of health and safety companies simply “hire in” consultants to do your work, and this pushes the day rate up very high as they then add a mark up to the consultants’ fee.

  • We are passionate about health and safety, and we believe that good service, competent advice, and training should be as affordable as possible.

  • We do not inflate prices for big customers. We have the same pricing rate for a start up business or a national corporate client.

  • We want repeat business. Some consultants might work with a company once on a project and charge a high day rate, but we prefer to build long term relationships with our clients which sees them returning to us again as their regular affordable health and safety service provider.

  • It is not all we do! You will see from our website that our Health and Safety division is just part of a complete health, fitness, and wellbeing company. We provide counselling, fitness classes, sports therapy, and a range of other wellbeing services. This not only means our overheads are split between those aspects, but to be honest we often benefit from establishing relationships with clients and them going onto use our other services to support their employees.

When might we need a medication audit and disposal visit?

Whether you are a school, care home, veterinary practice, or retailer, one of the most important services we provide is one you probably have never thought about before!

If you are keeping any human or animal medication on site, especially prescription medication you have a legal duty to store, record, administer and dispose of the medication properly. It is good practice to check this is happening, at regular intervals to audit remaining medication and securely dispose of medication no longer needed.

We have a specialist in our team who is qualified in pharmacy and is a DEFRA Veterinary Medicines Directorate Suitably Qualified Person (RAMA). He can come to your site either scheduled or unannounced (to your team) and audit medication administration records, carry out and certify medication held on site and is able to securely destroy unwanted medications on site and then take them away for disposal.

This service can not only spot errors and provide guidance on best practice, but it can also give your management team the peace of mind and reassurance that legislation is being followed. We can combine it with first aid kit and equipment routine checks and audits to make the perfect package.

We are often also called in to audit and inspect where employers suspect a medication administering error has been made or where there is discrepancy in medication or stock levels. In these instances, we handle the situation professionally, independently and with complete discretion.
